Kuwait has deported another 118 Bangladeshi workers. The deported workers arrived in Dhaka on Saturday, raising their total number to 464.

Hundreds of Bangladeshi workers are being deported by Kuwait for 'violating local laws'. On July 30, the Kuwaiti authorities started deporting foreign workers, mostly Bangladeshis, who went on strike in the Gulf country in protest at low wage, poor work conditions and exploitation by their employers.

Matiur Rahman Chowdhury has the details.
