Dr Muhammad Samad ,who is the
Professor of the Institute of Social Welfare & Research in Dhaka University and
a member of the Presidium of Kabita Parishad pays reach tributes to Poet
Shamsur Rahman, one of the most representative poets of modern Bangladesh.
Dr Samad says that Poet Shamsur
Rahman's death has been an irreparable loss for the point of view of social
movements but as a poet, Shamsur Rahman is going to live for ever amongst his
innumerable readers.
He talks about the multi-dimensional elements
in Shamsur Rahman's poetry. He also focuses on Shamsur Rahman's dedication
against any kinds of communal division.
