The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for a suicide attack on a Shi'ite mosque in Iraq's capital that killed at least eight people and wounded about 20 others.
Police say the blast in the mainly Shi'ite Obeidi area in eastern Baghdad targeted worshippers as they were leaving the mosque.
Islamic State claimed the attack in a statement posted online.
IS, a Sunni group, considers Iraq's Shi'ite majority to be apostates and regularly targets them with bombings in crowded areas of Baghdad.
Iraqi forces, backed by coalition airstrikes, have been fighting Islamic State militants since they captured large parts of Iraq more than a year ago.
