U.S. OFFERS AID TO PHILIPINES  

At a White House meeting with Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President George Bush expressed his deepest condolences to the victims of Typhoon Frank (Fengshen). "I know there are families that are hurting," said Mr. Bush.
