The Netherlands rallied to beat defending champion Australia, 2-1, at the Champion's Trophy women's field hockey tournament in Argentina.
Suzie Faulkner capitalized on a penalty corner to give Australia the lead in the 10th minute Sunday. But Chantal De Bruijn and Maartje Scheepstra scored second-half goals to hand Australia its second loss in as many games. The Netherlands has six points from two matches and the tournament lead.
In another match, China drew 1-1 with New Zealand. Chen Quigi had the first goal for China in the 10th minute. But Tara Draysdale equalized in the 23rd minute.
Host Argentina plays Olympic gold medalist Germany later Sunday, and both have a chance to draw even at the top of the table.
