Former world number one women's tennis player Kim Clijsters of Belgium has beaten Russia's Vera Douchevina at the Eastbourne, England grass court tennis tournament to claim her third tournament title this year.
Clijsters, seeded seventh, ousted Douchevina in straight sets, 7-5, 6-0. Earlier this year, Clijsters won tournaments at Indian Wells, California, and Miami, Florida.
Douchevina was the 2002 junior champion at Wimbledon and had beaten top-seeded Amelie Mauresmo of France on her way to the finals.
The grass court tournament is a key warm-up for the Wimbledon championships, which start Monday in London.
