Zimbabwean Olympic champion Kirsty Coventry has won five gold medals in swimming at the All-Africa Games currently under way in Algiers, Algeria.
Zimbabwean athletes have taken a total of 11 medals. However, the team suffered a setback early this week when paralympic Elliot Mujaji suffered a hamstring injury.
Team manager Custom Kachambwa told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that in spite of Mujaji's injury and some logistical problems, he is happy with Zimbabwe’s performance in the games.
