US Men's Basketball Team Dominates Angola in Tuesday Action

Dwyane Wade has scored 19 points while LeBron James dominated both ends of the court to lead the United States a 97-76 victory over Angola at the men's Olympic basketball tournament in Beijing.

Dwight Howard added 14 points and James finished with 12 for the Americans, while Carlos Morais scored a game-high 24 points for Angola in the Group-B match.

Earlier in the group, Pau Gasol scored 29 points to lead world champion Spain past Yao Ming and host China, 85-75 in overtime, while a dogged Greek defense held Germany's Dirk Nowitzki to just 13 points in an 87-64 win.

The U.S and Spain are both unbeaten with two wins and four points in Group-B. Germany and Greece have records of 1-1, while Angola and China are both winless.

In Group-A, Linas Kleiza scored 22 points to lead unbeaten Lithuania to a 99-67 victory over winless Asian champion Iran. Croatia is 2-0 after beating European champion Russia, 85-78. Russia is now 1-1.

In the final game of the day, Argentina defeated Australia, 85-68. Both teams are now 1-1.
