Census Bureau Says US Poverty Rate Holding Steady


A new government report recently released shows the nation's poverty rate was virtually unchanged in 2007. The U.S. Census Bureau's annual report also shows the number of Americans without health insurance fell last year - the first annual decline since the Bush administration took office. But some economists have criticized the report, saying it paints an inaccurate picture of the U.S. economy today. VOA's Mil Arcega reports.
