Zimbabwe's Dynamos Football Club sailed through to the quarter-finals of the CBZ Football Association Cup defeating Railstars 5-0 Wednesday at Rufaro Stadium in Harare, the capital.
Striker Norman Maroto accounted for four of the Dynamos goals while Railstars itself accounted for the fifth through an own-goal.
Dynamos defender Thomas Sweswe told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that victory was sweet after Dynamo's 1-0 loss to Cameroon’s Coton Sport Sunday in a Confederation Of African Football Champions League semi-final.
The team is to travel to Cameroon for a return leg and needs a 2-0 win to compensate for Sunday's loss and make it into the tournament finals.
