A suicide bomber kills one and wounds 15 as he blows himself up outside a cafe on a beachfront walkway in Tel Aviv.
Israeli police say the attack occur early Wednesday local time near the U.S. embassy. Three of the victims are in serious condition.
Eyewitnesses say the bomber set off the explosives on the street after a security guard stopped him from entering the popular restaurant called "Mike's Place."
The blast came hours after the Palestinians approved their first prime minister, Mahmoud Abbas, who has promised to dismantle Palestinian terrorist groups.
