Iraqi security forces are still trying to retain full control of Ramadi after anti-government fighters seized parts of the city in January.
Iraq has been experiencing its worst violence in recent years, driven by widespread discontent among its Sunni Arab minority and the civil war in neighboring Syria. More than 1,400 people have been killed this year.
