A South African artist has drafted a satirical plan for people with red hair – often called “gingers.” It involves them ruling the world as a “superior race.” Anthea Pokroy’s so-called “Ginger Manifesto” is part of her debut solo exhibition, entitled I collect gingers. It consists of hundreds of photos of redheads, shot by Pokroy over a period of two and half years. But she says it’s much more than that.
