Ukrainian news media are reporting that the country's national security service has banned the leader of the group Limp Bizkit from entering the country for five years.

Fred Durst, the founder of the group and its lead singer, was quoted in news reports in October as saying he was interested in buying a house in Crimea, the Black Sea region annexed by Russia in 2014.

The Ukrainian online publication Apostrof on Monday reported that the security service in November had banned Durst's entry for five years ``in the interests of guaranteeing the security of our state.'' The Interfax news agency reported that the security service had confirmed the ban, but did not give details.
