Residents of Kunduz in Afghanistan Fear Another Taliban Attack

When the Taliban attacked Kunduz in early October, the Afghan city did not technically fall to them like last year, but it took the government nine days to clear them out — with NATO’s support. Roads leading to Kunduz are still considered dangerous. The Taliban randomly set up illegal checkpoints and stop cars going into or coming out of the city. VOA’s Ayesha Tanzeem is the first Western journalist to visit Kunduz since the attack. Here is what she found.
