Trump’s Golan Heights Declaration a Boon to Netanyahu

President Donald Trump met Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House Monday, and signed a proclamation to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights. Even though Netanyahu's visit was cut short by rocket attacks from Gaza, many see the White House meeting as Trump's political endorsement of a close ally seeking a fifth term in Israeli elections two weeks from now.
