Security officials say three car bombs killed at least 11 people and wounded at least 46 across Iraq Saturday.
Authorities say five people were killed and 15 others wounded when a car bomb exploded outside a hospital (Al-Sadr) in Baghdad's predominantly Shi'ite Sadr City neighborhood.
In other attacks, police say a car bomb killed four people in the central Shi'ite city of Hillah, and a suicide bomber killed two others in the northern town of Tuz Khurmatu.
In Mosul Saturday, police say a car bomb targeting a police station wounded six people. At least 400 people have been killed in the past week in Iraq, making it one of the deadliest since a major U.S.-backed security crackdown began in February.
Iraqi Justice Minister Hashem al-Shebli Saturday announced his resignation from his post because of political differences with his own party. Shebli belongs to the Iraqi National List, an alliance of Sunnis and Shiites that holds 25 seats in the 275-member parliament.
