The Democratic Party candidates for next year's U.S. presidential election will participate in a debate in the northeastern state of New Hampshire Sunday.
The eight contenders for the party's nomination, including Senator Hillary Clinton, Senator Barack Obama, and former Senator John Edwards, will take questions on the campus of Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The war in Iraq is expected to be a focus of the debate, along with domestic issues such as health care and immigration.
Ten Republican Party presidential candidates will take part in a similar debate on June 5th at the same location.
This will be the second debate for the Democrats, and the third debate for the Republicans. Both debates will be nationally televised.
Other Democrats running for president include Governor Bill Richardson, Senator Christopher Dodd, Senator Joseph Biden, former Senator Mike Gravel, and Representative Dennis Kucinich.
The ten Republican presidential candidates include former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Senators John McCain and Sam Brownback, Governor Mike Huckabee, former Governors Mitt Romney and Jim Gilmore, and congressmen Tom Tancredo, Ron Paul, and Duncan Hunter.
The state of New Hampshire is the site of much early presidential campaign activity because it traditionally holds the first primary election of the year.
