Musharraf Says Pakistan Government is Committed to Finding Bhutto's Killer

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf says his government is committed to finding the truth behind the assassination of opposition leader Benazir Bhutto.

Mr. Musharraf told British investigators during a meeting Tuesday that they would have the full cooperation of all of Pakistan's government agencies.

The meeting comes just days after Ms. Bhutto's supporters called for a U.N. probe into her killing.

A team of British anti-terror officers from Scotland Yard arrived in Pakistan on Friday to provide technical and forensic assistance to the government's investigation of the assassination.

Ms. Bhutto was killed December 27 in a gun and suicide bomb attack after an election rally, and much of the blood and debris was washed away soon after her killing.

Ms. Bhutto's son, and political heir, Bilawal says that he does not trust Pakistan's investigation into his mother's death.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reiterated a call for a UN investigation during a press conference Tuesday in London.
