Apple Co-Founder Takes Sick Leave, Shares Fall


A week after reassuring investors about his health, Apple CEO Steve Jobs has disclosed his medical condition is "more complex" than initially thought.

Jobs announced he was taking a temporary medical leave on Wednesday but did not provide details about what was ailing him.

Apple shares fell seven percent after the announcement.

Analysts say it is not surprising, given how closely the company is identified with its founder.
