There has been an explosion in the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi.
Authorities say several people were killed or wounded in the blast, but no confirmed figure was immediately available.
Witnesses said the explosion occurred on a busy street, shortly after a convoy carrying President Pervez Musharraf passed by.
General Musharraf narrowly escaped an assasination attempt earlier this month in the same city, located just outside the federal capital of Islamabad.
One report says Thursday's blast was caused by a suicide bomber who detonated an explosive charge hidden in a pick-up truck.
