US Strike Kills 50 Taliban Leaders in Afghanistan

The U.S. military confirmed a ground-based rocket artillery strike, using the M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), killed at least 50 Taliban leaders May 24 in southern Afghanistan. The artillery strike targeted a gathering of Taliban leaders in the Musa Qala district of restive Helmand province. VOA's Mohammad Habibzada reports.
