Author Fills Void of Inspirational African Women Leaders Through Educational Materials

VOA’s Ndimyake Mwakalyelye spoke to Eve Thompson, author of “Leading Women of Africa”, about the political advancement of women on the continent. Eve discusses the concept of her book which was due to the lack of Black women mentioned in educational materials. She shares stories detailing the leadership journey of African women, including former president of Malawi, Joyce Banda. Also, how she finds inspiration through working with historically disadvantaged and marginalized people in South Africa.
