Democrats Try to Force Congress to Pass Gun Control Bill

Democrats in the U.S. Congress used procedural tactics to try to force action on what they are calling an epidemic of gun violence in the United States. Most Democrats and a few Republicans support a House bill that would prevent people on the FBI's no-fly list of terrorist suspects from buying a gun. But Republican leaders in both chambers oppose the bill and are not planning to bring it up for a vote. VOA's Cindy Saine reports.
