Overdose deaths in the U.S. averaged more than 10 people per hour of 2020, amid a continued tide of illegal narcotics, many of them smuggled into the country from Central America. VOA Pentagon correspondent Carla Babb traveled to the region with the top U.S. admiral for Latin America, where the drug war is still raging amid many other challenges.
