Assyrian Christian fighters are trying to hold ground against Islamic State forces, who have overrun several Assyrian Christian villages in Syria's Hassakeh province in recent days. Hundreds of Christians have been taken hostage in the latest act of IS religious and ethnic cleansing. From the front-line village of Tel Mekhas, still in Assyrian Christian hands, the VOA Kurdish service's Zana Omer reports.
