Iraqi police say gunmen have killed an Iraqi television journalist, the second journalist slain in that country over the past two days.
Police say gunmen shot the journalist near his home in the northern city of Mosul as he headed to work at a local television station.
His killing follows the murder of prominent Iraqi state television anchor Riyadh al-Sarai on Tuesday. Police say Sarai was shot dead while driving through west Baghdad.
Press freedom groups say at least 139 reporters have been killed in Iraq since 2003.
In other news, Iraqi security officials say at least six people have been killed in separate bombings across the country Wednesday.

In the deadliest attack, a vehicle exploded near a bus terminal in the southwestern Baghdad district of Bayaa, killing three people. Shortly after, a second bomb detonated, apparently targeting police and rescue workers arriving at the blast site. More than 20 people were wounded in the explosions.
In central Baghdad, police said two nearly simultaneous roadside bombs killed one person and wounded more than five.
And officials said two policemen were killed and two civilians were wounded in a roadside bombing southwest of Kirkuk.
