Hawaii Officials Think Bigger as They Prepare for Tsunamis

The reality of climate change means many coastal communities and island nations are vulnerable to tsunamis. The island state of Hawaii thought it already was preparing for the worst, but the devastating 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan forced Hawaiian officials to re-evaluate their plans. They're now preparing for an extreme tsunami, the kind that comes once every 500 or 1,000 years. VOA's Mike O’Sullivan reports.
