“Our Voices” co-hosts Amina Aliyu, Auriane Itangishaka, Ndimyake Mwakalyelye and Sigmenish Yekoye had a discussion with Diane Weisz Young, Regional Education Advising Coordinator in West Africa at EducationUSA, about the enrollment of international students to the United States. Diane explains how the EducationUSA network assists students with gaining access to U.S. higher education institutions and how they have helped with the presence of students from sub-Saharan Africa. She also shares insight on why many African students are choosing to study abroad as opposed to staying in their home countries.
