UNICEF Uses Drones to Fight Cholera in Malawi

Several African countries are dealing with cholera outbreaks, including Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In Malawi, cholera has killed at least four people since November and sickened some 200 more. The U.N. Children’s Fund is trying out a new high-tech approach to better target response efforts, making use of a humanitarian drone corridor established in Malawi last year.
