The U.S. military has confirmed it carried out the airstrike that killed the northern commander of the Islamic State group's Afghan affiliate last week. Separate joint U.S-Afghan airstrikes targeted a number of Taliban’s narcotics processing labs in the western parts of the country. Mohammad Habibzada reports.
