Venezuela Mourns Loss of Pioneering Radio Station

Ending a nine-decade run, Venezuela’s Radio Caracas Radio aired its last broadcast June 30. Media analysts are warning that the closure of RCR, one of the country's oldest stations, along with the shuttering of dozens of other media outlets, is limiting public access to information.
