Coral Adapts as Planet Temps Climb
Coral reefs are home to about one-third of everything that lives in the ocean. Rising ocean temperatures and increasing acidity, however, are killing them at a rapid pace. VOA’s Rosanne Skirble reports on a new study on heat-tolerant corals that may lead to new ways of conserving reefs in a warmer world.
