Activists Call for Release of Jailed Egyptian Photojournalist
After Egypt freed imprisoned Al Jazeera journalists and others late last month, President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi said his country now enjoys unprecedented freedom of expression. But activists say some journalists remain locked up, including Mahmoud Abou Zeid, also known as "Shawkan," a photographer who has been jailed for more than two years. VOA’s Heather Murdock reports.
