Syrian Army Recaptures Half of Rebel-held Eastern Aleppo
More than 20 people, including children, were reported killed in airstrikes Sunday southeast of Aleppo as government forces press to take full control of the city. Syria's army backed by Russia has taken about half of rebel-held eastern Aleppo and is inviting residents to return to their homes. Russia has dispatched humanitarian aid to the areas retaken from the rebels. VOA's Zlatica Hoke has more.
