Supreme Court Ousts Pakistan's Sharif

Pakistan's Supreme Court has disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from holding public office Friday and ordered him to step down immediately. Sharif's office announced shortly after the court issued its ruling that he accepted it, despite serious reservations, and he relinquished charge of office.
