Covid-Somalia Ramadan - USAGM

Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu, is home to more than half a million internally displaced persons, or IDPs, living in crowded camps with poor sanitation where the coronavirus can spread rapidly. On the outskirts of city is an IDP camp and home to about 1,000 people. In the holy month of Ramadan, these vulnerable families will rely on food aid to survive, amid a surge in COVID-19 infections.
