It’s been six months since the World Health Organization received its first reports of the coronavirus outbreak in China. Since then, 10 million people across the globe have been infected, with about 500 thousand reported deaths. W.H.O Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says the COVID-19 pandemic is not even close to over and the worst may be yet to come. During a briefing on Monday, Gebreyesus said the hard reality is that while some countries have made progress, the pandemic is actually speeding up. The United States continues to have the most cases and the most deaths. As of Monday, there were about 2 and a half million cases of infection and more than 126,000 deaths.
