A cold front brought wild winter weather across eastern Australia, with snow falling across New South Wales and flash flooding in Victoria.
Temperatures overnight had fallen as much as 8 degrees Celsius below average in parts of New South Wales and Queensland, the Bureau of Meteorology tweeted.
